LED Street Light

Our organization provides LED Street Light, which are robust in construction. In these lights, the LED do not get heated and hence these functions for longer duration. We measure 48 LEDs version and the measurement data is available in Eulumdat format. Without transparent cover of this lamp, the measurements were done.

The following overview is made for a comparison with other light bulbs.

Luminous flux:

As a function of the inclination angle, with the luminous intensity data, it is possible to compute the luminous flux. For this lamp the result of this computation is a luminous flux of 3840 lm. A radiation pattern is shown by this beam. Being 137 graden, the beam angle can be computed, when using the average values per inclination angle. From the plane, this value is dependent.

Luminous efficiency:

A luminous efficacy of (3840 / 48) [lm/W] = 80 lm/W is attained, the power of the street light being 48 W and the luminous flux being 3840 lm. A power factor of 0.94 means that a reactive component of 0.38 kVAr was needed for every 1 kWh net power consumed.
